How to Improve Yourself Right Now (and why)

How to Improve Yourself Right Now (and why)

Don’t waste another year

Unfortunately…

It feels nearly impossible to improve yourself these days.

Why?

We’re surrounded by instant gratification.

Big macs, vape pens, onlyfriends…

What’s the point again?

But let’s not forget —

The price you pay goes BEYOND monthly subscriptions

It’s your future potential.

So if you’re headed in the wrong direction…

Here’s how to change your trajectory —

# 1 | GYM LIFE

Fitness comes first on the list.

Always.

As long as you don’t skip a workout — consider your day a success.

Here are some principles to keep in mind:

  • Lift 3–4 times / week
  • Cut out the junk food

An attractive physique sets you apart from ~80% of the competition

Incorporate low-resistance cardio too.

Especially if you’re cruising on the North American lifestyle.

With our passion for drive-thrus, you have to be intentional about it here.

Personally, I walk around 8K steps per day

If you can hop on an exercise bike — even better.

Health before everything.

# 2 | HUSTLER

“The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates, and a monthly salary.” — Nassim Taleb

I used to think that a six-figure salary meant Beamer, Benz, or Bentley.

Wrong.

Sadly, even asking for extra guac these days stretches the budget.

A tweet storm by Naval helped me understand this —

Essentially:

You’re never going to get rich working a 9–5.

Sure, the hourly can get pretty high.

But REAL wealth comes from ownership.

So…

Spend 1–2 hours every day building your brand.

How?

Leverage your current knowledge through creative endeavors —

  • Writing
  • YouTube
  • Podcasting

Just to name a few.

This is your ticket to summers in Tahiti or bentos in Japan.

Keep at it.

# 3 | TOUCH GRASS

I mean that in the best way possible.

It’s all too easy to get lost in the digital sauce.

My opinion?

  1. Deactivate socials
  2. Delete dating apps
  3. Block corn

Spend your life in the real world.

Learn skills, meet people, explore foreign lands…

Don’t waste your time doomscrolling on Reddit.

Your time is more valuable than that.

Use it wisely.

# 4 | BIBLIOTECA

I used to hate reading.

Stuck in a waiting room, I would pick Candy Crush over “48 Laws of Power.”

Bad shape — I know.

But this year, I’ve completed over 25 books (so far).

How?

Read for ideas.

In other words…

You DON’T have to memorize every page or finish every book

This isn’t high school anymore.

It’s more valuable to understand the key points and apply them ASAP.

Also…

I was flexing earlier, but the number of books you read means nothing

It’s better to have the best 100 texts on repeat than 1000 turds.

# 5 | HELLO

Most of life’s highlights comes from spending time with people.

Even the most mundane activities (like folding clothes) turns into a rager with the right friends.

This is the time to push yourself out of the comfort zone.

Move to your favorite city.
Spend time with the bros.
Approach attractive strangers.

Trust me — it works out.

If you’ve completely forgotten how to socialize in the last couple years —

Do this:

Join random group activities.

It could be salsa, kickball, archery…

Whatever floats your boat

Most importantly, pause Netflix and make YOUR life the movie.

BUT WHY?

I promised to drop the “why” for improving yourself right now.

It’s simple.

You only live once.

Shouldn’t you experience as much as you can?

And if you don’t do any of this, here are the long-term consequences

  1. Health problems and an unattractive physique
  2. Decades of soul-crushing 9–5 servitude
  3. A life spent watching other people have fun
  4. An uninspired mind
  5. No friends and involuntary monkhood

The choice is yours —
