Stop Waiting To Start Dating

Stop Waiting To Start Dating

Sadly, most men have this fantastical belief that “dating will be great” once they get “the thing.”

Better job, six pack, Tesla…

But actually — it’s all nonsense

They’re indulging in avoidance.

How?

I know because I did this for years.

In fact, most of my 20s passed away in purgatory

A constant shifting of the goalposts.

For instance:

“I’ll DM her once I’m ripped.”

Sound familiar?

Sure, reach those goals.

But running an infinite race is a sure path to misery

You’re more capable than you think.

Limits are a product of your perception.

Here’s how to change them…

# 1 | NO DESTINATIONS

The most beautiful women came while I was skinny fat and living on poverty wages.

Real talk.

Moving the goalpost (aka making excuses) keeps you single and stagnant.

Recognize this:

If you’re blessed with a four limbs and a working brain…

You’re ALREADY there.

All of the necessary tools are at your disposal.

Whether you want to ask out your crush, or just meet new women.

So…

Ignore whatever self-limiting beliefs you’ve built up in your head.

Just do what you need to do.

Now.

Here’s an exercise:

  • Write down the beliefs that prevent you from action
  • Identify the consequences of NOT performing the action

Is your pursuit of “goal” preventing you from doing the “actual goal?”

Once you understand your self-limiting beliefs…

Peep this —

# 2 | CARE LESS

“Tranquility comes when you stop caring what they say. Or think, or do. Only what you do.” — Marcus Aurelius

Aurelius had some heaters.

Basically…

Ignore the noise.
Focus internal.

Why?

In reality, nothing is inherently good or bad.

So there’s NO REASON to feel pain upon failure or rejection.

For example:

Steve Jobs famously dropped out of college after a semester.

He was a dropout.

But we all know how that turned out.

Ultimately, be confident in your decisions.

Nature takes care of the rest.

# 3 | ACTION

Pretend you wake up tomorrow as a 22 year old.

You get to keep of all of the knowledge you have now.

What would you do differently?

Here’s my list:

Lift more consistently
Socialize with interesting women
Travel to challenging places

Guess what?

There’s zero reason to continue pushing it off.

Start now.

Because in 50 years you’ll dream about waking up even a year younger.

It’s not that complicated.

There’s no failure other than inaction.

And action is far easier than you think.

Here’s a pro tip:

Attempts = Results

Push the limits of your comfort zone…

Everything opens up.
