The Minimalist Routine That Makes You Attractive

The other day I finished reading the minimalist bible:
“Essentialism” by Greg McKeown.
I picked it up after the Chris Williamson cosign.
Honestly…
The book is kinda basic, but it did plant a seed in me.
What does the perfect attractive routine look like?
These days, I see a lot of guys craft their influencer inspired regimens…
“Wake up at 4AM and run a half marathon.”
Only to hit SNOOZE until it’s shift time.
We’ve all been there.
The truth is, you can only have so many “priorities.”
So how do you actually create a high-impact routine?
Here’s what I learned…

HABIT # 1 | COLD SHOWERS
Crank the dial the other way.
I know…
I used to think cold showers were broscience too.
But the benefits are real:
- More energy
- Mental fortitude
- Glowing skin
All it takes is 5 minutes in the morning.
Once you hop out of the shower, follow these rituals:
Sunscreen (SPF 30+)
Style with mixed hair oils
Dress dapper
For your dress code…
The easiest way to stay on point is to upgrade your wardrobe AND deposit your worst fits in a local landfill (or donate them).
Don’t resist.
You’re investing in yourself.

HABIT # 2 | MEDITATE FOR 10 MINUTES
Think of meditation as a short vacation from the world.
There’s dozens of meditation styles out there, my favorite being breath meditation:
- Sit with stillness
- Focus on your breath
Breath meditation is a workout for an area of your brain called the prefrontal cortex.
This strengthens your ability to make decisions (no bull).
And side effect…
You become more attractive.

HABIT # 3 | GYM TIME
No matter how busy you are…
Fitness is a MUST.
A fit body turns the droughts into floods.
It is the HIGHEST return action you can take.
I know waking up at ungodly hours is all the rage…
But the timing doesn’t matter.
All you need is consistency.
Find a 60 minute slot to attend to your body.
Go.
Here are some other tips to stay disciplined:
- Join a 24/7 gym
- Keep the drive < 10 minutes
No more excuses.

HABIT # 4 | READ FOR 20 MINUTES
When I first embarked on Mission Attractive…
I thought reading for an hour everyday was my key to success.
I was wrong.
Why?
Reading on its own is useless.
There’s a reason “armchair philosopher” is a common insult.
Unless you’re APPLYING the ideas you’re learning…
You’re better off watching a South Park episode.
Read for ideas.
Test them & repeat.

HABIT # 5 | DISCOMFORT TRAINING
There’s a catch.
Even after you look like Brad Pitt…
Women don’t just flock to you on demand.
Attraction requires putting yourself out there and challenging your fear of rejection.
It’s hard to force yourself to do this…
So I turned it into a game.
How?
I spent 20 minutes making a list of sweat-inducing challenges:
- Asking a busy person for the time
- Asking a stranger to rate my look
- Asking a random girl out to Cheesecake Factory
The point is not to get a positive response.
If anything — you want to get rejected in the beginning.
This turns you into a fearless beast.
Treat yourself afterwards for the positive reinforcement.
