The Power of Thinking Big

I remember back when my definition of the “good life” was a cubicle, passable body, and Netflix premium.

A classy date at the Cheesecake Factory would have made it utopia.

It’s wasn’t a bad goal.

But it wasn’t what I really wanted.

What separates “great” men from the averages?

I spent many nights on this question.

As much as you want to blame genetics, luck, or nepotism for the difference in change…

These are just excuses to deflect responsibility.

Countless (regular) guys turn themselves from nameless scrubs to top tier every year.

Our question is…

How?

For purposes of survival — we’re taught to adopt a scarcity mentality from an early age.

But as reality shows…

The stability of an average life is a facade.

Ask anyone who’s been “let go.”

Confined to the realms of small thinking…

You find yourself GRINDING just to be another replaceable.

Meanwhile, your boss drives through with a model in the passenger.

After getting splashed a few times…

Our question grows louder.

“Think big.” — Masayoshi Son

Tell me what your dream life looks like.

Who do you inspire to be?

Think big.

If your answer doesn’t get the blood rushing…

Think again.

For most men, this life involves a ripped body, generational wealth, and abundant dating options.

Journal down your goals every week to remind yourself of the mission.

Now to turn these into reality…

  1. Identify the points of maximum return
  2. Develop corresponding habits
  3. Learn + practice constant iteration

The last one is key.

Not iterating is the definition of crashing out (according to Einstein).

Is it going to be easy?

No.

But it’s not quantum mechanics either…

We’re running out of time.

I know.

But the most common mistake is trying to do EVERYTHING at once.

Nature has a seasonal flow.

If you’re trying to launch a solo business and play Tinder Lord at the same time…

You’ll fail at both.

You won’t have the time and focus it takes for proper skill acquisition.

So here’s how I plan my year with this in mind…

3 month grind flow:

This is a monk mode state.

Prioritize yourself.

  • Build equity (most accessibly way through leveraged digital work)
  • Go heavy in the gym

Your social life is temporarily on the backburner.

But trust me…

After one cycle…

I went from crying about not having matches to options pouring in.

Your magnetism rises every season.

1 month social flow:

Leverage your profits from the gym and wealth creation to enjoy social benefits.

  • Talk to everyone
  • Travel abroad

Make memories.

Use these experiences to inspire further growth during the grind cycles.

Personally — I still hit the gym and get work done.

But it’s more about maintenance than PRs.

Most importantly…

THINK BIG.

Mindset separates you from your highest self.

And reality bends to your beliefs.

Remove your self-imposed blocks.

You’ll be surprised where you find yourself.
