Why 97% of Men Never Become Attractive

Some sage advice from my aesthetic friend
About a year ago — I started taking weight training serious.
It was time to become the Rock.
And more days than not…
I’m incredibly consistent.
My body gets brutalized at least 4 times a week, and compliments have finally entered the chat.
But don’t give me too much credit.
It’s not for noble reasons, like my actual health.
No sir.
Instead, I realized what a glow up meant for my dating life.
So I continued.
But yesterday was rough.
I nearly broke down.
Why?
I started to question the process.
After a year of hard work — I was athletic.
But not jacked.
And a warm bed accompanied by “Chef’s Table” was calling my name.
Maybe it’s genetics?
Thankfully, my best friend knocked some sense into me.
Most men quit right before they become aesthetic.
Don’t be one of them.
Here’s what I learned about pushing through the pain…

Feed your desires
“If you want it, you gonna get up earlier than anyone.” — Young Thug
Your “why” is the most important predeterminant to the other side.
And contrary to popular opinion…
Your desire for the female gaze is not enough.
Otherwise, every man in America would be at a Planet Fitness instead of a Wendy’s drive thru.
It has to be deeper than that.
Ask yourself this:
Why do you want it?
Olympians win championships because they want to be the best in the world.
What’s your purpose?
Find it — and put your whole soul into it.
It’s gold or nothing.
Nobody remembers second place captain.

Expectations reset
When you started college, did you expect a six figure job right after first semester?
No — because that’s not how life works.
The reality is…
It’s going to take at least 3-4 years to earn your stripes.
But think about it.
Either:
A) You’re aesthetic AF in 3 years
OR
B) You’re still invisible
Pick one.
Time is passing either way.
Personally, I couldn’t imagine going decades without seeing my abs…
So A is the only option.
Simply put:
The amount of time you are able to delay gratification is directly correlated to your success.
And I hear the juice is worth the squeeze.
Keep pushing.

Love and romance
Let’s say you have no willpower and the patience of a iPad kid.
What now?
Two words…
Unconditional love.
To find success, detach yourself from the finish line and find joy in the journey.
Put on your freshest fits.
Fall in love with the post-workout aches.
Gawk at yourself after bicep day.
Ultimately — make it fun.
If you’re loving every session, fitness becomes an obsession.
And before you notice, you’ll wake up looking straight out of Baywatch.
