The Truth About Wasting Your 20s

A few years ago I looked in the mirror to my surprise…

A long strand of white poking through my beard.

Senile decay.

It turns out — I was getting old.

This would have been fine under normal circumstances.

But in my case…

I had nothing to show for it.

Sure, I earned a little more coin and no longer scared women away.

But I wasn’t attracting what I wanted.

I wasn’t waking up to “I miss you” texts from preppy blondes.

Despite my resolutions…

Every year was just a repeat of the last.

Where was the time going?

It had to be fixed.

Before I found myself locked in a home.

Here’s how I did it…

TRUTH # 1 | GYM FIRST

If you are serious about attracting the love of your life…

Hit the gym.

This should not come as a surprise to anyone who’s made it to their 20s.

Or watched an early 2000s romcom.

So why do so few men actually succeed?

Simple.

They lack priority.

The reality is…

There aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything.

A fit body requires disciplined labor.

Commit yourself.

Use the gym first principle.

There’s a get together at the beach?

Denied.

Nothing happens until you train.

TRUTH # 2 | LOG OFF

Imagine waking up and jumping from dream to digital escapism.

Tragic.

Leave that technology sh*t in the past bro.

Unless you enjoy wasting your life — do ANYTHING else.

Breath meditation, write out the mission, watch paint dry.

Literally anything.

When you allow internet algorithms into your inner matrix…

They only serve to addict you.

How are you going to be THAT GUY when you’re deleting your time?

There’s no space for growth.

My screen time dropped 4 hours a day once I internalized this…

Scrolling is actually for losers.

Harsh?

At the very least — anyone who wipes 2 months a year doesn’t care about their personal development.

TV off.

TRUTH # 3 | FREEDOM CLUB

So many young men today are lost in the sauce.

I used to be one of them.

Instead of flirting with my Spanish partner after class…

I went straight to the lair and booted up incognito.

Prime years spent on pixelated fantasies.

Sad regrets — but I turned it around.

How?

I started with a 30 day digital detox to restore my senses.

Then I applied the same belief I did with scrolling…

This is for losers.

Once you create a distance between an undesired action and your self-image…

You simply don’t do it.

If your internal confidence isn’t there yet…

Practice visualization and mantras during your digital detox.

Peep your potential.

TRUTH # 4 | KNOWLEDGE

I never thought sewn up paper would make me more attractive.

It did.

Books inspired me with ideas that I acted on.

Especially philosophy — which cured me of my anxiety.

Stoicism, existentialism, Eastern practices…

The message?

Take action, detach yourself from the reward.

Focus on doing your best work.

The truth is…

Every day matters.

Even if you’ve wasted the past…

Don’t throw away your present.
